Aseptic Systems
Many Isolation systems are sterile
rather than toxic and require an environment free from
biological hazards. ACE have a wealth of experience in
the use of Vaporised Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP), for the
effective surface sterilisation of the inner surfaces of
the containment systems.
ACE can assist the operators in the effective cycle
development of the process, to ensure a log 6 kill is
achieved in the quickest most effective sterilisation
cycle. |

VHP PASS BOX
The VHP Pass Box is a single
chamber unit with two interlocked doors and is installed
through a wall to give a controlled transfer system. The
Pass-Box is used to pass non autoclavable material from
a class 10,000 area to a class 100 area. The unit is
interfaced with a Steris 1001 bio- decontamination unit
to sanitize both the chamber and materials during the
pass through sequence. Bio-decontamination is achieved
by introducing vaporised hydrogen peroxide (VHP) into
the Pass-Box chamber.
An on board fan provides air movement within the chamber
using HEPA panel filters on entry and exit of the critical
chamber. The HEPA filters are positioned with the Pass-
Box to provide uni-directional airflow from supply to
return HEPA filter. Further to providing air movement
within the Pass-Box the fan is activated during the
de-contamination cycle to assist in the distribution of
VHP.
The unit is fitted with on board electrical, control and
instrumentation controlling the recirculation fan, door
interlocking and interface with the Steris 1001 unit. |
