Sampling

As part of the product manufacturing process, samples have to be taken during the drying process, and transported to the laboratory in a contained manner.

Many products manufacture today are very expensive, even for the most minute quantity, ACE manufacture a range of containment systems, to allow the safe recovery of the product heel, to be found on the membrane surface of the dryer.

HEEL REMOVAL MODULE

The Heel Removal Isolator is a single chamber device designed specifically for product recovery from a Filter Dryer.

The unit is fabricated out of 316L grade stainless steel and is fully welded crack and crevice free to provide a smooth internal finish.

The Isolator is furnished with glove ports in a glazed vision panel and is closed coupled to the fileter dryer, for product recovery.

The Isolator works under negative pressure via a remote extraction system with the interior of the glove box inert under nitrogen. HEPA filters are fitted to the nitrogen inlet and the extraction take off point and determine the containment barrier.

SAMPLING CONTAINMENT SYSTEM

A single chamber Isolator designed specifically for the purpose of obtaining a product sample from the Filter Dryer Vessel. The unit is fabricated out of grade 316L stainless steel and is fully welded crack and crevice free to provide a smooth internal finish. The Isolator is closed-coupled to the filter dryer and is furnished with glove ports and glazed vision panels for the sample recovery.

The Isolator works at ambient pressure to the vessel. HEPA filters are fitted to allow venting, thus eliminating the "piston effect" of the gauntlets being inserted or withdrawn in and out of the glove-box as the operator places his/her hands in the gloves provided.
